No picture, a “no signal” message, or a picture that cuts out when you touch the cable? A damaged HDMI port is one of the most common console faults we fix, and it’s very repairable.
Before you bring it in, try a different HDMI cable and TV input. If it still doesn’t work, it’s likely the port or the circuitry behind it.

Please bring the power cable and a controller with your console, so we can test it properly before and after the repair.
PS5 and PS5 Digital, Xbox Series X and Series S, PS4 and Xbox One. Nintendo Switch docking faults are handled on our Switch repairs page.
Swap the HDMI cable, try another HDMI input on the TV, and check the console powers on fully. If none of that helps, the port is likely.
Bent, missing or pushed-in pins, a plug that wobbles, or a picture that cuts out when you touch the cable.
Some consoles have a small chip between the board and the port. If the port looks perfect but there’s still no picture, that chip may be the cause. We check before quoting extra work.
If the port has been ripped off and taken the pads with it, the repair becomes board-level work. We’ll explain and quote before going ahead.
An HDMI port is one of the best-value console repairs. Everything else in the console still works, and a new port gets it back for a fraction of a new console, with your saves and setup intact.
Every console is different, so we look before we price. When you bring it in we note the fault you’ve described, test it with your cable and controller, and open it up if we need to. Then we tell you what’s wrong, what the repair involves and the price, and nothing is done until you say yes. Where we publish a fixed price, that’s the price. Where it says “from”, the final price is confirmed after we’ve had a look, before any work starts. If a repair isn’t worth doing, we’ll tell you straight.
If we fit a standard part, like an HDMI port, a fan, a drive or a stick, and the same fault comes back within 12 months, bring it back and we’ll put it right. Board-level work, such as soldering repairs on the motherboard, carries 3 months, because those boards have often been through a knock or a spill already. The warranty covers our part and our workmanship. It doesn’t cover new drops, spills, or someone else opening the console after us.

Prices include VAT and parts. “From” prices depend on the model and the fault: final price confirmed after we’ve had a look, before any work starts.
The warranty covers the part we fitted and our workmanship. It doesn’t cover new accidental or liquid damage.
£85 including the part for a PS5 or Xbox Series X, and £75 for an Xbox Series S. PS4, Xbox One and other consoles are from £65. If the board behind the port is damaged too, we'll tell you before doing any extra work.
Usually, yes. If the rest of the console is healthy, a new HDMI port is far cheaper than replacing the console.
Yes, we repair HDMI ports on the Xbox Series X and Series S.
Leave some slack in the HDMI cable, don't move the console while it's plugged in, and keep the cable from being pulled.
12 months on a standard HDMI port replacement. If board-level repair is needed, 3 months on that work.
Yes. The damaged port is removed and a new one soldered to the board.
